Greetings strangers~ Here lives a humble college student working for her AA in English (3 more semesters to go!) with the distant dreams of becoming a writer be it script, storyline, translation, or whatever. I would perfer novelist but that takes luck as well as talent, so I plan to start off my dream on a realistic note before reaching for the stars. Gotta have the rocket to reach them, after all. But for this particular person if you give her writing to work on, even something as mundane and supposedly as painful as a school report, then she is in bliss. At this point in time she's finally getting off her butt and starting to submit her writing in hopes of publication. Wish her luck. She needs it in this world.
The more people have told me I'll fail, the more strongly I want to work to succeed. Especially when I say, "I'm an English Major." "Oh, you want to be a teacher!" "..., sure," when I'm actually thinking, No, I want to be a writer! How many people automatically think teacher? You'd be surprised...
I'm an otaku (animé fan) of only a minor degree. I used to be on the extreme, but college has stolen the time needed for that form of dedication. When I can, I add to my animé collection, and I love to read which in turn helps me to write better as I explore the different meathods of my admirable authors. You wouldn't be able to tell such from my earliest entries to this journal. I had to mature a little along the way~♪
I also have way too many pets, but though they can be frustraiting I love my animals. I also love my father, best friends, friends, some coworkers, and my sister. However, my mother and myself often clash, so be forwarned there will be alot of mother-bashing contained herein when such disagreements come about. It difficult living with a hoarder, after all, and my stress often bleeds into here away from my personal ranting journal.
Another thing I shall forwarn you about is critisizing my religeon. I am Wiccan. I am quite happy being Wiccan. And even if you do decide to try, I'll probably stay Wiccan. If it bothers you just skip over any entry that partains to wicca (Of which thus far there are none. I keep a personal journal for that.) So there is another warning for you to count up.
